MILLENNIALS

Destination KC has developed extensive programming showcasing the Kansas City lifestyle for early career hiring candidates and interns. Our tours showcase Kansas City as a best city for millennials in both the “practical” tests (affordability, unemployment rate, safety and public transportation) and “fun” tests (nightlife, cultural attributes, healthy lifestyles and diversity).  

We offer two programs targeted at this important audience:

Targeted at Early-Career Interview Candidates and Interns, this program focuses on individual and group tours for candidates coming in for an interview. We’ll reach out to your candidates before their visits to customize the tour to their interests.  Then, we’ll give them a taste of the lifestyle they can expect in KC.

Targeted at New Hires still completing their college degrees, this program provides an ongoing dialogue and multiple touch points with early career new hires to keep them educated, engaged and excited about your company.  


EXECUTIVES & Their FAMILIES

Buy-in from a spouse and family can be an integral part of a successful relocation for your new hire. So we've developed a program that helps new hires and their families feel good about their decision to choose your company and KC.  We'll provide tours and resources to connect the family with living in KC. 

INTERNATIONAL RECRUITS

Connecting with the community can be particularly challenging for candidates from outside of the US. Through our relationships with numerous international cultural groups in Kansas City, we provide candidates and their families the resources they need as they transition.
